Infarmed orders batch removal from market and alerts patients not to interrupt treatment

SOL1 September 2026 at 19:47

Infarmed – the National Medicines Authority and Health Products – ordered the removal from the market of a batch of the medication Salofalk. The decision comes following a problem identified in the serialization of the medication.

Salofalk is a medication used in the treatment of intestinal inflammations. The batch affected by the recall order is L25428A.

Patients who are in possession of this specific batch should not, however, interrupt treatment on their own. Infarmed recommends that they consult their doctor before making any decisions regarding their medication.
