A bus accident in Egypt caused 16 dead, according to the still provisional toll of the tragedy. The vehicle was traveling in the surroundings of the Red Sea, a coastal area very frequented by national and foreign tourists.
The accident also resulted in 28 injured people, who were transported to hospital units in the region to receive medical treatment.
Egyptian authorities have not yet disclosed information about the cause of the accident or the nationality of the passengers involved in the crash.
