GUARDA: Physician from ULS da Guarda among 60 selected to think about the future of Health in Portugal

João Pedro Silva, physician at the Local Health Unit (ULS) da Guarda and coordinator of the Family Health Unit (USF) Lameirinhas, was selected among 759 applications to join Health Parliament Portugal. This selection represents significant recognition of his contribution to the health sector in Portugal.

Over the next six months, João Pedro Silva will participate in a national forum dedicated to reflection on the main challenges of the Portuguese health system. Health Parliament Portugal brings together professionals and specialists from diverse areas to debate and propose solutions for fundamental health issues in the country.

João Pedro Silva's participation in this project brings visibility to ULS da Guarda and the region, demonstrating that even from smaller health units it is possible to contribute to the national discussion about the future of health in Portugal.
