Rogério Copeto, retired GNR colonel, was appointed security coordinator for Évora European Capital of Culture 2027. The official will lead the specialized monitoring of security conditions for the entire cultural program planned for the event.
Copeto has over 30 years of experience in command, training and strategic management functions, which gives him a vast background for the position. He is native to Évora and is 56 years old.
The new coordinator will be the central link in the coordination between teams, entities and field operations, ensuring that events take place safely. This appointment comes within the scope of strengthening security measures for the cultural event.
