Jorge Martín, a Spanish rider born in Madrid in 1998, faces his final months at Aprilia in the MotoGP season, with the main objective of finishing his stint with the team as world champion.
The Madrid-born rider currently leads the world championship, although his advantage has been considerably reduced after Marc Márquez's double at the Aragon Grand Prix.
With Márquez's recovery, the difference between Martín and his closest pursuer has been reduced to just 19 points, making the fight for the title even more intense in the remaining races of the season.
In recent statements, Martín expressed that competing for the title against Marc Márquez, whom he considers one of the greatest riders in the history of motorsport, would be something special for his career.
