Crystal Palace takes Osorio from Midtjylland

Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo2 September 2026 at 09:07

The Chilean winger Darío Osorio, 22 years old, was transferred on loan from Midtjylland to Crystal Palace. The English club secured the player's services with a purchase option set at 26 million euros.

The loan represents a strategic move for the young Chilean, who is looking to gain more experience and playing time in one of the major European leagues. The Premier League offers Osorio the opportunity to establish himself in a more competitive setting.

Midtjylland, the Danish club where Osorio made his name, thus receives the player back under the same conditions under which he was loaned, maintaining the possibility of a definitive sale should Crystal Palace decide to exercise the purchase option at the end of the season.

At just 22 years old, Osorio is considered a promising talent in Chilean football, and the transfer to England comes as an important step in his career, joining a club that regularly competes in the Premier League.
