Only four compensations settled after Glória Elevator tragedy

One year after the Glória Elevator tragedy, some of the most important questions about the accident remain unanswered. Who failed, why they failed and who will be held responsible remain without a definitive answer.

The derailment occurred at 6 PM on September 3, 2025, and caused 16 dead and 24 injured.

Regarding compensation, the process is far from concluded. So far, only agreements have been reached with the families of four deceased victims.
