Temperatures reach 42 degrees in the coming days and leave 11 districts under warning. North African dust returns

Temperatures will reach 42 degrees in the coming days in Portugal, according to IPMA (Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere) forecasts.

Due to extreme heat, 11 districts of mainland Portugal are under weather warning.

IPMA also indicates that dust from North Africa is likely to occur in the southernmost regions of the country, particularly on Thursday.

Heat puts eleven districts under yellow warning on Thursday and Friday

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) issued a yellow heat warning for eleven districts in Portugal, which will be in effect on Thursday and Friday.
