Tehran reacts to US bombings with attacks in four Middle Eastern countries

SIC Notícias2 September 2026 at 03:21

Iran carried out attacks on American bases in Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraq, in an escalation of tensions in the Middle East. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard claimed responsibility for the military operations.

The attacks were carried out in retaliation for bombings carried out by the United States in the region. Iran thus responded to what it considers American military provocations on Iranian territory.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated that it caused significant damage to the bases hit. The military group also warned that it will respond severely to any future attacks against Iran.
