PS/Açores and PCP demand measures from the Regional Government of the Azores, formed by PSD, CDS-PP and PPM, to protect families and businesses from the increase in fuel prices, which took effect starting today.
PS/Açores leader Francisco César used the social network Facebook to make this demand, arguing that "Azoreans cannot continue to bear always more costs" and asking for something he considered very simple from the Regional Executive.
The two opposition parties in the Azorean parliament thus joined together to pressure the Regional Government to take protection measures against the rise in fuel prices in the autonomous region.
