Russian President Vladimir Putin has again called on Armenia to submit its intention to join the European Union to a referendum "as soon as possible".
Putin reiterated that Armenia must make a clear choice between the European Union and the Eurasian Union, led by Russia.
This is not the first time Putin has made this appeal to Yerevan, the Armenian capital, on the question of joining an economic bloc.
The issue of Armenia's European integration has been a delicate matter in relations between Moscow and Yerevan.
