The Ukrainian footballer Mykhailo Mudryk will reinforce Tottenham in the 2026/27 season, on loan from Chelsea. The winger had been suspended since March 2025, when he tested positive for a banned substance in an anti-doping control.
The transfer was officially confirmed by Tottenham. Mudryk, who had been under contract with Chelsea since January 2023, will thus change clubs in the Premier League for the first time since arriving in English football.
The 24-year-old player never managed to establish himself at Chelsea, where he scored only three goals in 55 games. His last official appearance happened precisely before the suspension imposed by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
This loan represents an opportunity for Mudryk to regain competitive form and demonstrate his value in the English league, now at a new club and without the pressure he faced at Stamford Bridge.
