Flamengo sees Plata devalued after failing medical exam in Russia and does not intend to try new sale; understand

The Ecuadorian Plata failed the medical exams at Dynamo Moscow, in Russia, and Flamengo does not intend to try a new sale of the player until the end of the transfer window. The club understands that the player has devalued after the Russians' decision not to sign the contract, under the allegation of physical problems. The damage to the player's valuation is estimated between 40 and 60%.

Flamengo had an agreement to sell Plata for 10 million euros, equivalent to R$ 60 million, plus 2 million euros in bonuses. The player has a contract with the Brazilian club until 2029, which means the Ecuadorian's departure is back to square one.

The Rio de Janeiro club believes the negotiation did not go through because Dynamo Moscow found another player on the market with more favorable economic conditions. Flamengo's management considers that the failed medical exams significantly compromised the athlete's negotiating power.

After Plata's rejection, Dynamo Moscow proceeded to sign Maxi Gutiérrez, a player from Independiente del Valle, for 7 million euros. The amount is lower than what would have been paid for the Ecuadorian, reinforcing Flamengo's suspicion that the Russian club found a more economical alternative on the market.
