Casadó leaves on loan to Deportivo and Manchester City breaks the bank for Enzo Fernández

Barcelona's transfer market ended without the arrival of an additional defender, despite the club's attempts. Gabriel Jesus was Hansi Flick's last signing, completing the list of signings for the blaugrana club during this transfer window.

Deco, Barcelona's sporting director, focused his efforts on offloading four players. Cousins Guille (to Venezia) and Toni Fernández (to Mallorca), as well as Álvaro Cortés (to Amberes), were all transferred with buyback clauses.

The most significant departure was Marc Casadó, who was loaned to Deportivo in an unexpected destination. The young player will not remain at Barcelona this season.

On the international scene, Manchester City made a big move in the market by signing Enzo Fernández, demonstrating the financial power of the English club in European football.
