Minister André Mendonça, of the Supreme Federal Court, removed the seal on Tuesday (1st) from an inquiry by the Federal Police that gathers messages exchanged between former banker Daniel Vorcaro, Minister Alexandre de Moraes, and lawyer Viviane Barci de Moraes, the magistrate's wife. The investigation is part of inquiries related to the Banco Master case.
The document has 218 pages and contains a message excerpt in which Daniel Vorcaro tells Minister Alexandre de Moraes he has a "debt of life" with him. In the message, Vorcaro declares: "We are always together. You know I have gratitude from my life to you. My whole family, employees, partners, friends who depend on us, have a debt of life with you and your family. Thank you very much for everything. Now it's about continuing on the trail to be able to conclude, if God wills it."
The disclosure of these messages occurs in the context of investigations into the Banco Master case, which involve exchanges of communications between Vorcaro, the STF minister and his wife, who is a lawyer. Mendonça's decision to remove the seal makes public the messages that were previously restricted.
