Minister with 'totally clear conscience' regarding exam process

The Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre, stated on Tuesday that he has a "totally clear conscience" regarding the process about national exam assessment, which was opened by the Public Prosecutor's Office after a complaint filed by Fenprof, a teachers' union. The minister considered that the process "did not start well, it started badly, but ended well," noting that more than 50,000 students are in higher education and that all students received their grades. Fernando Alexandre also indicated that students who are not satisfied with their results can file a complaint, explaining that this situation happens every year and that the necessary mechanisms are made available for this purpose. The minister was speaking on the sidelines of an event, expressing confidence in how the process unfolded and reiterating the commitment to continue improving the Portuguese education system.
