The Ministry of Finance confirmed having received a report on TAP, but did not advance any timeline for a decision on the matter. The Finance ministry limited itself to guaranteeing that it will comment on the document, without specifying when.

The report was delivered to the government, which is now analyzing its content before taking any public position. The authorities did not want to anticipate deadlines or details about what is foreseen in the document.

TAP is the Portuguese state airline, which has been the subject of restructuring and political discussion in recent years. The government remains silent about the next steps.

The Ministry of Finance reiterated its intention to comment, but maintains the uncertainty regarding the moment when it will do so. The decision about TAP's future thus remains without a defined date.
