From Tuesday, Mercer began operating under the Marsh brand, marking the unification of human resources consulting, talent management and investment operations with the group's risk management and insurance brokerage company. This transition aims to consolidate the organization's brand architecture, bringing together under a single structure the provision of services in the areas of risk, strategy, people and investments for business clients.
The restructuring does not involve changes to work teams or operational client support, with existing contracts and agreements also remaining in force. This measure is part of the group's global strategy to simplify its value proposition and facilitate access to integrated consulting, technology and management capabilities in the corporate market.
In parallel, the century-old Guy Carpenter will also become Marsh Re, maintaining its reinsurance activity. Rodrigo Simões de Almeida, CEO of Marsh Portugal, underlined that Mercer maintains its solid commitment to supporting clients, highlighting that what is evolving is the way they put more talent, capabilities and technology at the service of clients.
