Return of sun and heat from Wednesday onwards

Mais Semanário1 September 2026 at 17:42

After several days marked by instability and out-of-season rain, Póvoa de Varzim and Vila do Conde are now entering a phase of greater meteorological stability, with the return of clear skies and higher temperatures. From Wednesday, the return of the sun brings a clearly warmer environment to the coast.

Maximums should settle between 24 and 25 degrees until the end of the week, with little wind and low cloud cover, conditions that increase the thermal sensation. The nights also follow this rise, with minimums close to 20 degrees, creating milder nocturnal periods.

This trend continues until Sunday, when only a slight drop in maximums to 22 degrees is expected. With the bathing season approaching its end, the moderate heat and almost non-existent wind favor the presence of locals and visitors on the region's beaches.
