Central defender Santi García will continue at Gil Vicente. The deal that was in an advanced state of negotiation and would have taken the player out of the club ultimately did not materialize.
The transfer was estimated at at least 8 million euros, plus 20% of a future sale. Although the agreement seemed close, the parties did not reach a final understanding and Santi García thus remains at Gil Vicente.
