Salvador, a child of just six years old, saw his dream come true at Estádio da Luz, Benfica's home stadium. The boy suffers from Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare disease that affects the skin and makes the lives of children who suffer from it extremely difficult and painful.

The initiative allowed Salvador to enter the field alongside Rafa Silva, one of the most well-known players at Benfica. This moment was made possible through an action that brought together the club and the association that supports children with this rare skin disease.

Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa is a genetic condition that causes blisters and wounds on the skin, making it extremely fragile. Children who suffer from this disease face significant daily challenges and require constant care.

Estádio da Luz thus hosted an emotional moment that marked the life of young Salvador, providing him with a unique experience alongside the Benfica players.
