Volta System: Do you have many bottles and cans to return? There's a faster way

RFM1 September 2026 at 15:50

The Volta System, which allows the return of beverage packaging through a deposit system, offers a practical solution for those who have many bottles and cans to return. Instead of having to deliver them one by one, consumers can use Volta Kiosks to make large quantity deliveries all at once.

This option is particularly useful for those who have accumulated dozens or hundreds of packages over time. The Kiosks were created to streamline the return process, avoiding queues and loss of time that could occur if each package were processed individually.

The Volta System works with a deposit model: when purchasing a drink in eligible packaging, the consumer pays a small additional amount that is recovered when returning the empty package at a collection point. The Kiosks now allow this process to be optimized for larger volumes.

This feature comes as a response to the need to make package returns more accessible and convenient, encouraging recycling and contributing to the system's environmental sustainability goals.
