Portugal continues practically without electric trucks. Only 0.5% of new heavy goods vehicles sold in the first half of the year were electric, a value much lower than the European average of 2.3%.
The environmental associations ZERO and UVE defend that support is needed for the purchase of heavy electric vehicles, as well as incentives for the installation of charging infrastructure and grid connection.
