Federal government retirees and pensionists born in September must complete the life proof starting this Tuesday, the 1st. The procedure is mandatory and aims to ensure the maintenance of monthly benefit payments. Failure to complete it may result in benefit suspension.
The life proof can be completed through the SouGov.br app or directly at the bank. The mechanism exists to ensure that the beneficiary is alive and can continue receiving their benefits, preventing fraud, improper payments, and interruptions in benefits.
The procedure is mandatory not only for federal government retirees and pensionists, but also for civilian political amnesty recipients and their pensioners, as provided by Law 10,559/2002.
The Servidor Portal informs that there are three modalities for completing the life proof: in person, digitally, or through Analytics. The original text was cut off, making it impossible to present more details about this third modality.
