Vila Viçosa will host on September 2nd a technical meeting dedicated to local archaeological heritage, organized at the invitation of the CECHAP Study Centre. The objective of the meeting is to evaluate the possible classification of archaeological remains considered of "great interest", located in a marble quarry in the municipality.

The session will take place at Cine-teatro Florbela Espanca, at 10 a.m., and will feature the presence of various specialists and decision-makers. Among the participants will be the Vice-President of CCDR-Alentejo, Eng. "Life has not been easy at all": Carla was a single mother, went back to work at 78 and at 101 she remains "passionate" about fashion

Carla Villa, an Italian woman of 101 about to turn 102, shared her life story marked by challenges and overcoming. She was a single mother in 1967, at a time of strong social prejudices, and raised her son Thomas alone with the support of her family. She lost her brother Aldo in World War II, in the battle of the Don, in Russia. At the age of 78, she went back to work in the same space in Milan where she had previously managed an antique shop for 18 years, temporarily replacing an employee in a bridal dress shop. At 101 years old, she maintains an interest in fashion, having previously designed her own dresses, and continues to live in the same family home on Via San Marco for the past 99 years.
