A new law regarding TVDE (Transport in Undisclosed Vehicles) comes into force this Tuesday. The legislation will now also integrate taxis in its regulation.

This change represents a significant shift in the transport sector in Portugal, bringing together the TVDE and taxi activities under a single legal framework.

Many drivers consider this entire process still somewhat unclear, expressing uncertainties about the practical application of the new legislation.

The degree of implementation and the concrete implications of this integration remain to be clarified among many professionals in the sector.
