The president of the Lousã City Council, Victor Carvalho, today defended the creation of a metrobus station in the city's Industrial Zone. During his statements, the mayor referred to this aspiration as "the next conquest" for the municipality.
The new station would be located in the Alto do Padrão area, a location that, according to the mayor, would benefit both workers and companies in that industrial area. This proposal comes within the framework of the development and expansion of the metrobus network in the region.
Victor Carvalho has been fighting for improvements in the municipality's mobility, and the creation of this station represents another step in that direction. The industrial zone of Lousã has been growing, and the need for better public transport connections is becoming increasingly urgent to support both local workers and the economic development of the region.
