Public debt falls to 286.3 million in July

Public debt fell to 286.3 million in July, according to data from the Bank of Portugal.

Conversely, liabilities in deposits increased by around one billion euros in the same period.

This increase is partly due to private investment in savings certificates.

The data is released by the Bank of Portugal.

Renewables up, but imports hit record highs
