Return to routine: how to improve communication between neighbors

SAPO Notícias1 September 2026 at 12:39

September marks the return to routine after the summer vacation period. With the end of the holidays, residents go back to crossing paths in the elevators of the buildings where they live, resuming the daily contact they had before the vacation.

Residents also begin to use the building's common areas more intensively, such as leisure areas, parking lots, and entrances. This greater use of shared spaces implies more interaction between neighbors.

Furthermore, residents go back to participating more actively in condominium life, whether in meetings, collective decisions, or in the daily management of the building. This return to normalcy brings with it the need to relearn how to live in community.

The article suggests that this transition period is an excellent time to strengthen or rethink the way neighbors communicate with each other in the building, promoting better coexistence among all residents.

A total of 149 young people from Castelló submitted requests for rental subsidies after the deadline, in a municipal program endowed with 405,000 euros for the first time. The councilor for Housing, Ester Giner, stated that the main objective is "to respond to the greatest concern of Castellonense and Spanish society, such as access to housing, especially for the youngest."
