The company Águas do Alto Alentejo is responsible for managing water supply and sanitation systems in the Alto Alentejo region. The applications submitted are precisely aimed at serving these systems managed by the company.

The funding comes from the Portugal 2030 Programme, the current EU cohesion policy framework for Portugal. The amount of 9.4 million euros represents a significant investment for the modernization of infrastructure in the region.
