OE2026: State tax revenue rises 3.8% to 36,953 ME by July

Portuguese State Tax Revenue reached 36,953 million euros by July, representing an increase of 3.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.

In direct taxes, growth of 2.4% was recorded, driven mainly by the increase in net IRS revenue, the individual income tax.

The data refers to budget execution under the State Budget for 2026 (OE2026), covering the period until the end of July.
