Former vocalist of the band Calcinha Preta, Rogério Valença dies at 55

Musician Rogério Valença, former vocalist of the band Calcinha Preta, died at the age of 55 in Aracaju (SE). The artist was being treated for kidney failure and was awaiting a kidney transplant, but did not survive after a heart attack. Originally from Garanhuns (PE), Valença was also part of the band Caviar com Rapadura and currently performed with the group Raio da Silibrina. The band Calcinha Preta and vocalist Marlus Viana published tribute messages on social media mourning the death of their colleague. The burial took place in his hometown.
