Air France-KLM changes CEO in Portugal and Spain amid the race for TAP

The Air France-KLM group announced a change in leadership of its operations in Portugal and Spain, replacing the general director who was heading these operations.

Manuel Flahault is the name chosen to lead operations in these two Iberian regions. He is a manager with more than 20 years of experience within the Air France-KLM group.

Until this appointment, Manuel Flahault was responsible for the group's operations in Brazil and the Southern Cone, a region that includes Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia.

This leadership change occurs at a moment of particular strategic relevance, coinciding with the race for the acquisition of TAP, the Portuguese airline that has attracted the interest of various groups in the aviation sector.
