End of RRP leads Brussels to speak of a "decisive moment" for the EU

Brussels considered the end of the RRP (Recovery and Resilience Plan) as a "decisive moment" for the European Union. This assessment comes in the context of the conclusion of European funds destined for post-pandemic recovery.

The Socialist Party (PS) expressed the intention to urgently hear the Finance Minister, Fernando Castro Almeida, about the execution of the RRP. This request aims to clarify issues related to the application of European funds in Portugal.

The RRP was an extraordinary financial instrument created as part of the European response to the pandemic crisis, allowing Member States to access significant funding for reforms and investments.
