Amazon is being sued for alleged manipulation of online auctions, in a process that represents the third lawsuit filed against the American retail giant.
According to the accusation, the company allegedly "secretly and systematically" overcharged approximately 1.2 million advertisers who used the platform to promote their products.
The process focuses on the manipulation of the pricing system used in the platform's advertising auctions, where advertisers compete with each other to obtain visibility spaces in search results.
This is the third lawsuit filed against Amazon, suggesting a pattern of questionable practices in the company's operations in the e-commerce sector.
