The Minas Gerais group Jota Quest released the album "Jota Quest & Tim Maia — Dance enquanto é tempo", available on streaming, with reinterpretations of classics and B-sides from Síndico. The album features participations from Tim Maia through vocals extracted from the original phonograph recordings of the singer. The album will be presented live for the first time at the Sunset Stage of Rock in Rio on Sunday.
The article also addresses a recent controversy involving the group. The band allegedly canceled their show at the wedding of former BBB contestants Viih Tube and Eliezer after criticism and an investigation by the Ministry of Labor. The couple faced accusations related to the reality show "As patroas", starring them, in which employees of their home would be victims of humiliation and exploitation.
Singer Rogério Flausino, in an interview to promote the album, refused to comment on the controversy. According to him, the matter is "internet talk" and, if it involves legal issues, it should follow its course without the band's comments being necessary.
