The day is coming! New giant screen, one million giveaways and more: see 5 new features of Rock in Rio 2026

Rock in Rio 2026 is just three days away. The festival takes place on September 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13 at the Olympic Park, in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. The 2026 edition brings several new features, including new musical genres and a renovated stage.

The Mundo Stage, the main stage of the festival, has been completely redesigned. The stage features gigantic screens, much larger than the previous ones, with 2,400 square meters of LED panels and 104 meters in length.

Among the confirmed artists on the Mundo Stage are Foo Fighters, Avenged Sevenfold, Calvin Harris and Elton John. The festival also promises to give away one million prizes during the event.

The 2026 edition also brings other new features beyond the new screen, including the inclusion of new musical genres in the festival's line-up.
