The 25-year-old woman who was rescued on August 23 with drowning symptoms from a raft in Beriáin, Navarra, died, as did the 20-year-old young man who accompanied her days later. Both were found on the raft at la Morea.
The first rescue occurred on August 23, when emergency services intervened to rescue the two young people who were showing drowning symptoms. The woman was rescued from the water that day.
After the first rescue, the 20-year-old man died days later. Subsequently, the 25-year-old woman also died, thus confirming the death of both young people.
