The Molinological Theme Park, located in the village of Ul, opened its doors again for two days to host a traditional festival that celebrates local culture and the trades related to milling. The event seeks to recover and keep alive the traditions associated with mills, which were part of this community's history.
The festival in the park transforms the space into a meeting point between generations and neighbours of the village, creating a moment of fellowship and sharing of memories. During the event, the traditional flavours and products that characterise the region and its cultural identity are presented.
The Molinological Theme Park functions as a space for the preservation of molinological heritage, collecting and displaying elements that bear witness to the importance of mills in the life of local communities. The initiative allows visitors to learn about an important chapter of Portuguese rural history up close.
