cbn1 September 2026 at 04:02

Rock in Rio 2026 begins this Friday, September 4th, at the Olympic Park, in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The festival runs until September 13th and features more than 100 acts over 7 days of event, offering options for all musical tastes.

The two main stages of the festival are Sunset and Mundo. The schedule for these stages always starts around 3:30 PM, which may vary depending on the day, and the last show ends shortly after midnight. As in the 2024 edition, the festival adopts a configuration that highlights the Sunset Stage, with a division between the two main stages.

The show dynamic works in an alternating manner: when a show ends on one stage, another begins immediately on the other, and the schedule always starts on the second stage (Sunset) and ends at the Mundo Stage.

On the first day of the festival, September 4th, the lineup includes artists such as Di Ferrero, Nova Twins, Detonautas featuring Biquini, The Hives, Hot Milk, Rise Against, and Capital Inicial featuring Dado Villa-Lobos, following the chronological order of schedules starting at 3:30 PM.

Fantasy games have experienced explosive growth in recent years, accumulating more than 8 million active players, with football as the main attraction, although they also exist in other sports such as cycling or basketball. The format is simple: with a limited budget, participants must select a team of 11 players and, based on the real performance of those athletes, they receive more or fewer points. The combination of sport and interaction with friends has been the key to the success of this modality.
