The month of September arrived with a heat wave that will cause temperatures to rise between 10 to 12 degrees in several regions of the country.

The forecast maximum temperatures are high, with Évora reaching 42 degrees, while Beja and Santarém should reach 41 degrees.

The meteorological situation led to the classification of maximum fire risk, warning of conditions favorable to the occurrence of wildfires.
