The Vila Nova de Gaia City Council approved an agreement with the Porto City Council regarding a register platform for heavy vehicle circulation on the Via de Cintura Interna.
The agreement comes in the context of the prohibition of heavy goods vehicles from circulating on the VCI, which will be implemented between 07:00 and 21:00 on weekdays.
The measure aims to regulate the traffic of these vehicles on one of the main ring roads of the city of Porto.
The entry into force of this prohibition is scheduled for September 15.
