André Ventura gathers leadership and MPs to decide on motion of no confidence in the Government

André Ventura, the leader of the Chega party, will meet today and on Tuesday with the party's national leadership and parliamentary group to decide on presenting a motion of no confidence in the Government.

The meetings aim to analyze and debate the party's position regarding the executive, allowing the leadership and MPs to reach a coordinated decision on the possible presentation of the motion.

This decision comes in a political context where Chega has been a critical voice regarding the Government's actions, considering it necessary to formally express its disagreement through parliamentary instruments.

The party led by André Ventura thus intends to internally debate the terms and the most appropriate timing to advance with the motion of no confidence, involving both the party structure and its representatives in the Assembly of the Republic.
