Director Dawadi became one of the central figures of the tragedy that hit Nepal after a flood that devastated various regions of the country. In an act of courage, he managed to remove 900 children from the school moments before the flood hit the location. According to him, the team had only 10 seconds to act and save the students.
The tragedy in Nepal has already caused at least 781 dead, a number that is expected to increase as rescue operations continue. Additionally, thousands of people remain missing after the floods that accompanied the intense seasonal rains in the region.
Local authorities continue working on rescue operations and searches for survivors in the most affected areas. The flood caused large-scale destruction, leaving entire communities devastated and increasing the number of displaced people in the country.
