The Prosecutor's Office of Ceuta has recorded 23 sexual assaults against migrant women and girls since the massive entry of migrants into the city, one month ago. The Prosecutor's Office has confirmed these concerning figures about the vulnerability situation of this group.

Among the victims, there are nine minors and adolescents aged between 14 and 17. Additionally, five of the documented assaults include penetration, which qualifies them as sexual assault with penetration.

The situation of migrant women and girls in Ceuta continues to be a cause of serious concern for authorities and human rights organizations. The figures known reflect the conditions of extreme vulnerability faced by this population during their migratory transit.
