The Azores Burning Summer festival took place last weekend in the Atlantic region of the Azores, gathering several thousand people for an edition that celebrated music and dance. The event featured a diverse lineup that included artists such as Paulo Flores, Lura, Tabanka Djaz, Capitão Fausto, Zé Ibarra and Throes + The Shine, offering styles that ranged from funaná, rock-samba and other musical genres. BLITZ was present at the festival to attend the concerts, talk to the artists and experience the local gastronomy, including the well-known tuna steak. The event showed that, despite the reference to navigation, the true spirit of the party was in the dancing and the fellowship among the participants throughout the weekend.
