The GNR identified a 70-year-old man at Melgaço's weekly market for alleged counterfeiting. The police operation resulted from a complaint received by the authorities.

During the action, the Guarda military officers seized 118 counterfeited articles, with an estimated value of 1,770 euros.

The GNR Territorial Command of Viana do Castelo was the source that revealed this enforcement operation at the market in the municipality of Melgaço.
