Four people were seriously injured following a collision between a heavy vehicle and two light vehicles on IC8, in the municipality of Ansião, district of Leiria.

The accident caused serious injuries to the four victims, who required medical assistance at the scene of the occurrence.

Due to the incident, Itinerário Complementar 8 was closed to traffic in both directions, affecting circulation in the Ansião area.

The competent authorities were alerted and went to the scene to ensure the safety of road users and to manage the diversion of traffic.
