Amid the friction between the Federal Police leadership and Minister André Mendonça of the Supreme Federal Court, the court's president, Edson Fachin, meets on this Monday with the corporation's director-general, Andrei Rodrigues. The meeting is scheduled for 2 PM at the National Justice Council.
According to Fachin's official schedule, the agenda of the meeting is "information security in the justice system." Also participating in the meeting are the CNJ's secretary-general, Clara Mota, and the coordinator of the Department of Information Technology and Communication of the council, João Felipe de Menezes Lopes.
The meeting takes place at a moment of tension in the relationship between Mendonça and the PF leadership. The minister is the rapporteur of the most sensitive investigations at the Court, including the Master, INSS, and Lulinha cases, and adopted measures that provoked a reaction from the corporation.
Among the points of friction are Mendonça's determinations related to the maintenance of the teams responsible for the investigations.
