The president of the Regional Electoral Court of Piauí (TRE-PI) stated that electronic voting machines are "fully secure and reliable". The declaration was made during a presentation of the electronic voting system at the state Legislative Assembly.
The event took place on Tuesday morning, the 31st, and brought together state lawmakers, staff of the House and visitors. The presentation aimed to demonstrate the operation and reliability of the voting system used in Brazilian elections.
